I'm on vacation. For some reason I expected to be able to write 1600 words a day while touring Japan. Let's, uh, let's just say this is not the case.

So it's, um... it's going. Yeah. The ex randomly called for no apparent reason and that cost me two days where I didn't write a single word, but hey, only two days this time, right? So I'm behind right now (by almost 6k) but I might still be able to catch up and in all honesty even if I don't make the full 50k it's still words that I have written. ( Read more... )

Not quite twenty-four hours ago I realized, with some shock, that Camp NaNo starts tomorrow. I've thought about it a little bit, in theory; about what story to write and how to cope with the ongoing flood of other ideas and what my goal is- so I'm not entirely unprepared. As the title implies, I'm doing Camp, and at the full 50,000 words, too. Which is nuts, because I'm going to be insanely busy this month- but I did NaNo in November and I love that I have 50k words written of a story and when I start posting it it will already be half done and maybe I'll be able to update a little faster.
